Hand

This is my first painting.
After twenty-five years of wanting to, I took the plunge.

As you examine it, you will notice the hand is not clenched but slightly open as if grasping a hammer or shovel, tools that are familiar to me. At a distance there is some similarity to a rock.

This representation is to show thanks that through all these years of toil, the strength and imagination remain within me to paint this.
